Fragments of Motion
This painting came together the way a lot of my work does — by building layers and letting the marks lead the way.
I rolled out deep blues and violets to create the background, then started adding quick lines, scratches, and loose marks across the surface. Bright yellow lines cut through the darker space, while flashes of red and neon green add bursts of energy.
Some marks were painted, others were dragged or scratched into the paint. I like that mix because it keeps the surface active and full of movement.
This piece has a lot of motion and texture, so your eye keeps finding new things every time you look at it.
If you like bold abstract work with color and energy, this piece will make a strong statement in your space. Add it to your collection today.
